Coastal Operations Officer

As a Coastal Operations Officer, you will play a vital role in preserving and enhancing coastal assets. The successful candidate will support the Coastal Leader in effectively carrying out management activities for Council's Coastal Team.

The key responsibilities of this position include:

  • Demonstrating appropriate behaviours and standards
  • Completing daily operational duties
  • Responding to customer requests in a timely and professional manner
  • Applying established practices and procedures in the safe conduct of technical activities related to coastal operations and asset maintenance

Key Requirements
  • Trade qualification or equivalent experience in working outdoors
  • Relevant certifications and skills
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and oral
  • Able to use business technologies including MS Office Suite
