About this Opportunity:

We are seeking an experienced educator to take on a key leadership role within our school. As a Learning and Development Director, you will play a critical part in shaping our curriculum and supporting our educators in their practice.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement high-quality curriculums that cater to the diverse needs of our children
  • Provide coaching, mentoring, and support to our educators to enhance their practice
  • Contribute to the development of policies and procedures that promote best practice in early childhood education
  • Collaborate with our executive team to ensure the delivery of exceptional outcomes for our children and educators
  • Model and promote a culture of continuous improvement and innovation within our service

Requirements:

  • A Diploma in Early Education or equivalent qualification
  • Experience working in either a Lead Educator or an educational leader role within childcare
  • Ability to support and guide the team
  • A valid Working with Children Check or willingness to obtain
  • Current First Aid Certificate or willingness to obtain
  • Availability to open and close when required
  • Familiarity with the Reggio Emilia Approach
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Capacity to contribute to exceeding outcomes for children and educators
