VMware Automation Engineer

We're seeking a highly skilled VMware Automation & Orchestration Specialist to take full ownership of our VMware Aria Automation platform. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in systems engineering, with proven experience in platform automation and scripting using JavaScript, PowerShell, Python, and REST APIs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and evolve the VMware Aria Automation platform, driving maturity, reliability, security, and performance.
  • Design and develop automation workflows and scripts using vRA, vRO, JavaScript, PowerShell, and Python.
  • Integrate third-party systems using REST APIs and infrastructure-as-code principles.
  • Ensure platform compliance and align automation initiatives with security policies and best practices.
  • Drive continuous improvement in automation processes and tooling.
Essential Requirements:
  • Deep experience with VMware platform automation, including hands-on with vRA, vRO, and scripting.
  • Strong coding capabilities in PowerShell, JavaScript, and Python, with working knowledge of REST APIs.
  • Exposure to cloud environments - Azure preferred.
  • Familiarity with Infrastructure-as-Code and tools such as Terraform, Ansible, and Jenkins.
