Job Opportunity: Cloud Automation Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Cloud Automation Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will play a critical part in designing and implementing automated solutions for our cloud database environment.

As a key member of our team, you will work closely with global teams to develop and implement innovative solutions that streamline workflows and enable self-service products for managing cloud databases.

Your expertise in automation engineering will be instrumental in creating secure, scalable solutions. You will also have the opportunity to collaborate with teams, document processes, and leverage your database expertise to drive business outcomes.

The ideal candidate will have 6+ years of experience as an Automation Engineer, with 2+ years in Python automation. Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, Ansible, and PowerShell is required. Experience designing automation solutions for database workflows, solid understanding of AWS services like RDS, Aurora, Redshift, familiarity with Infrastructure as Code tools like CloudFormation and Terraform, knowledge of database platforms such as Sybase, SQL, Oracle (preferred), strong troubleshooting skills in reading and understanding code, and experience with observability tools like Grafana and Splunk are highly valued.
