We currently have two positions available for Chaplains;

  • Permanent Part-time Chaplain based at our Gwelup aged care home 3 days per week (Wednesday, Thursday & Friday) 7.6 hours per day
  • Permanent Part-time Chaplain based at our Beachside aged care home in Yanchep 2 days per week (Thursday & Friday) 7.6 hours per day

This role involves meeting the spiritual and pastoral care needs of our residents, families, and employees.

About the ideal candidate

  1. A good understanding of pastoral care and spiritual care
  2. Ability to connect and demonstrate empathy for the aged
  3. Ability to engage in a collaborative approach to deliver whole person-centred care within a team setting
  4. Experience with palliative care and dementia preferred
  5. Theological qualifications or willingness to pursue theological training
  6. Good communication skills, with the ability to efficiently document and record
  7. Willigness to uphold the Mission, Vision and Values
  8. Willingness to obtain relevant vaccinations
