About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Spiritual Care Practitioner to play a vital role in creating space for individuals to connect with their spirituality.

This position is responsible for coordinating spiritual care services to meet the needs of residents, families, and staff within our campus and Residential Aged Care (RAC) homes.

Fundamental to the pastoral care services, this role focuses on promoting and supporting the integral importance of spirituality to a person's wellbeing.

  • Coordinate spiritual reflection sessions that are inclusive and respectful of different faiths and traditions.
  • Assess and plan spiritual care needs for residents, families, and staff.
  • Develop and implement programs to promote spiritual growth and wellbeing.
  • Build relationships with residents, families, and staff to understand their spiritual needs and preferences.
About You

You have a strong understanding of the spiritual care needs of the elderly, their friends and families.

  • You possess excellent experience in creating and leading spiritual reflection sessions.
  • You have worked across religious and spiritual traditions.
  • You are proficient in assessment and care planning using online systems.
  • You excel at coordinating diverse teams and building relationships with colleagues and clients.
  • You have foundational counselling and group work skills.
  • You possess excellent administrative and organisational skills.
