We're seeking an experienced Comedy Promoter to lead comedy touring initiatives across Australasia, leveraging industry insights to spot and target new touring prospects.

This role requires a seasoned professional with a strong background in comedy promotion, who can navigate high-pressure situations and excel in collaboration and communication.

About the Role:

  • You will have at least 3-5 years of comedy touring experience, leveraging your industry insights to spot and target new touring prospects within the comedy genre.
  • You'll oversee all facets of secured comedy tour productions, collaborating closely with various teams to ensure that every aspect meets our Live Nation's standards for quality and stays within budget.
  • You'll work in tandem with our Marketing, Sponsorship, and Ticketing teams to craft marketing plans and explore new and exciting VIP experiences.
  • You'll play an important role in shaping our long-term strategy for growing the comedy genre within the Live Nation Australasia business.
  • You'll regularly provide updates and forecasts to the SVP of Concerts & Touring, ensuring that Live Nation Australasia's initiatives align with broader business goals.

  • You have a strong background in comedy promotion and have built an extensive network within the industry.
  • You thrive in high-pressure situations and excel in navigating tricky scenarios, such as artist cancellations.
  • Your collaboration and communication skills make you a great team member who can work across various departments and time zones.
