Job Description

We are seeking a passionate and experienced Lead Educator to join our team in the primary school age group. As a Lead Educator, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality educational programs that cater to the diverse needs of children.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist the Director of Service in creating and implementing enriching experiences based on children's preferences (programming)
  • Ensure program compliance with industry regulations
  • Interact with parents, supporting them with enquiries whenever possible
  • Engage with the school community by attending events and assemblies when the Director is unavailable
  • Play and have fun with primary school-aged children
  • Co-manage or coordinate during school holidays
Requirements
  • You must be passionate about kids, energetic, and able to have fun
  • A strong team player with excellent problem-solving skills and a positive attitude
  • Prior experience working in Before and After School Care or education is ideal, but not essential – we can provide training
  • Outstanding communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Seeking stable, permanent part-time hours up to 25 per week
  • Hold or be studying towards an ACECQA-recognised qualification in Victoria
