Technology Operations Director

We are seeking a highly experienced leader to spearhead our technology operations team. The successful candidate will play a key leadership role in shaping and delivering our global technology strategy.
The role is responsible for managing core technology infrastructure services including end-user computing, networks, servers, storage, and backup while driving an evergreen strategy that keeps our platforms current, secure, and aligned with evolving business needs.
- Lead the management of service contracts for operational suppliers.
- Establish effective governance and global management of these services.
- Oversee the maintenance of global technology infrastructure services within agreed performance metrics.
- Support regionally located services by applying standard practices for networks, telecommunications, and end-user computing.
This role requires strong leadership skills, technical expertise, and experience working in complex environments. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of leading technology operations teams and services.
Key Responsibilities- Manage significant budgets.
- Work closely with internal teams and vendors to ensure service excellence.
- Collaborate with the managed service provider to maintain and optimise our infrastructure delivery in line with ITIL best practices.
The successful candidate will be a collaborative leader who can work effectively with stakeholders at all levels. They will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills and be able to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
