Job Title: HSE Officer

We are seeking a dedicated professional to support our commitment to safety, quality, and sustainability in the construction industry.

About the Role:

The HSE Officer will be responsible for ensuring overall compliance with health and safety regulations, conducting regular site inspections, identifying and mitigating hazards, implementing risk controls, and supporting incident reporting and investigations.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Supporting in HSE Compliance & Risk Management.
  • Travelling across sites and providing Subcontractor & Site Support
  • Deliver site and new employee inductions, assist in developing and support subcontractors with safety documentation and training.
  • Assist Site Managers with subcontractor compliance, site presentation standards, and maintain adequate PPE supplies.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of HSE systems, manage HSE documentation, support HSE software integration, and assist in producing reports and communications.
Requirements:
  • Minimum Cert IV WHS or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in commercial construction - essential.
  • Strong knowledge of Australian HSE regulations and standards.
  • Proven ability to conduct risk assessments, safety audits, and incident investigations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and influence all levels of the organization.
  • Current driver's license and willingness to travel to various sites within the Metro Perth region.
