We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Disability Support Worker to join our team in Byron Bay and Casino, NSW.
About the Role:
- Provide high-quality support to individuals with disabilities, promoting their independence and well-being.
- Work collaboratively with clients, families, and other stakeholders to develop and implement personalized support plans.
- Conduct daily living activities, such as personal care, meal preparation, and household management.
- Assist with mobility and transfer techniques, using manual handling and hoist equipment as needed.
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance skills and knowledge.
Requirements:
- NDIS Worker Screening Check/Yellow Card
- Blue Card preferred
- Certificate 3 in Disability Support or equivalent
- First Aid and CPR Certificate
- Driver's license and reliable transport
- Fully COVID vaccinated as per QLD Health Regulations
- Flu Vaccination
- Valid rights to work in Australia (Passport, Birth Cert., etc.)
- Manual Handling Training and Hoist experience
What We Offer:
- 20 to 40 hours per week
- Weekly salary ranging from $800 to $2,000
- Competitive hourly rates for weekdays, Saturdays, Sundays, and Public Holidays
