About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Medical & Dental Assistant. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional patient care and supporting the day-to-day operations of our medical center.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide administrative support to our healthcare team, including greeting patients, making appointments, and managing medical records.
  • Process patient payments, invoices, and medical billing, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
  • Assist with patient inquiries, phone calls, and emails, providing exceptional customer service and support.
  • Maintain a clean and organized reception area, consulting rooms, and storage areas, adhering to infection control and confidentiality protocols.
  • Support the team with tasks such as filling in rosters, completing recalls, and maintaining accurate storage and retrieval of patient and practice records.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals, including doctors, nurses, and administrative staff, to ensure seamless patient care and efficient operations.
Requirements
  • Current Police Check and Working with Children clearance.
  • Current First Aid/CPR certificate and Immunisation Record.
  • Driving Licence/Photo ID and demonstrated ability to work in a team.
  • Experience with Medical software (BEST PRACTICE/MEDICAL DIRECTOR) is highly desirable.
