We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Controls Officer to join our team at The Star Entertainment Group. As a Controls Officer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the effectiveness of our internal controls and risk management framework.
Key Responsibilities- Implement processes to improve controls for adequate risk and compliance management
- Manage the effectiveness of remediation and control uplift activities resulting from audit, external review, and regulatory findings
- Support business leaders to identify, assess, and manage risks in line with risk management framework, policies, ICMs and SOPs and the control standard
- Report the outcomes of control testing
- Conduct regular risk and control self-assessments and document/report remedial actions as appropriate and in conjunction with business leaders
We are looking for a candidate with a strong background in risk management, internal controls, and compliance. You will have a proven track record of developing, implementing, and maintaining effective controls and risk management frameworks. You will also have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with business leaders and other stakeholders.
