Job Role

We are seeking a skilled Field Support Engineer to integrate and commission our autonomous hardware.

The ideal candidate will work closely with our development and deployment teams to ensure seamless transition to deployment of the autonomous solution.

Key responsibilities include integrating, debugging, and commissioning drive-by-wire and autonomy hardware, as well as deploying and testing autonomous vehicle software and dynamic controls.

Responsibilities also include performing test execution for new firmware, software, or hardware, deploying software on embedded Linux controllers, and developing test plans and schedules.

Additionally, the successful candidate will analyze and perform failure analysis activities to identify root cause of customer reported issues, act independently to conduct data collection and complete required vehicle performance tests, and contribute to documentation and training material for various software applications.

A bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline or trade certification in electrical, auto electrician or mechanical is required. The ideal candidate will have field-based experience working with autonomous machinery within mining or heavy industry.

Experience in the installation of vehicle electrical hardware, ability to be agile and adaptable to fast changing requirements, and experienced in troubleshooting, problem solving in a testing/application environment within autonomous application within mining operations are essential skills.
