We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) professional to join our team at Burbank Group. As a key member of our organization, you will play a critical role in ensuring the health, safety, and environmental well-being of our employees, contractors, and clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide expert advice and support to the Burbank Group of Companies on all matters related to HSE risk compliance, including developing and implementing initiatives that align with our HSE plan.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with Burbank employees, contractors, and suppliers to promote a culture of HSE awareness and compliance.
  • Stay up-to-date with HSE regulatory matters and provide timely updates to the business via your line manager.
  • Assist in the preparation and development of Burbank's HSE policies and strategies, ensuring they are aligned with industry best practices.
  • Promote Burbank's values and standards in HSE management and awareness among staff, clients, contractors, and suppliers.
  • Assist in the development and collation of information about environmental sustainability matters to inform management decisions.
  • Lead or support HSE committees as required, ensuring effective communication and collaboration across the organization.
  • Manage and maintain Risk & Compliance databases and reporting, providing accurate and timely information to stakeholders.
  • Develop and issue communication to staff, contractors, and suppliers via the HSE system, including safety alerts, monthly communication programs, and reporting as required.
  • Coordinate or conduct training for staff and contractors, ensuring they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their roles safely and effectively.
  • Conduct HSE audits to identify areas for improvement and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Work closely with business units to resolve internal and client queries, providing expert HSE advice and support.
  • Assist in the development of Burbank's Health, Safety, and Sustainability systems, ensuring they are aligned with industry best practices and regulatory requirements.
  • Assist in the maintenance of HSE accreditations where required, ensuring our organization remains compliant with regulatory requirements.
  • Risk management - Develop and maintain Risk registers/profiles, ensuring accurate and timely information is available to stakeholders.
  • Manage and control hazards, ensuring a safe working environment for all employees, contractors, and clients.
  • Act as a first aid responder where required, providing emergency care and support to those in need.
  • Ensure controls are in place for any high-risk, high-consequence situations, ensuring the health, safety, and environmental well-being of our organization.
