Culinary Team Member

We are seeking an experienced Chef to join our dynamic team. As a key member of the culinary department, you will be responsible for preparing and presenting high-quality dishes to our guests.
The Byford Tavern is a family-friendly venue that offers a range of dining options, including a restaurant, alfresco dining area, bar, and bottle shop. We take pride in using local, quality produce and specialty farm-to-table beef and Australian pub classics.
This role requires someone who is passionate about food and hospitality and can work well in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:- Support the Head and Sous Chef in daily operations;
- Maintain high standards of food quality and presentation;
- Prepare and present food to a high standard;
- Ensure kitchen hygiene, food safety, and compliance with health regulations;
- Manage stock levels and assist with ordering ingredients from suppliers;
- Able to work multiple sections and flexible with hours;
- Proven experience in a similar role;
- Excellent attention to detail and presentation skills;
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive attitude;
- Strong organisational and time management skills;
- Food Handlers Supervisor Certificate required;
