Personal Care Support Specialist
This role involves working as part of a caring and supportive team to create a welcoming, professional and supportive care experience for our residents. The Personal Care Support Specialist will be responsible for assisting with daily living tasks, providing personal care and support, and promoting independence and well-being.
- Assist with daily living tasks such as bathing, dressing and grooming
- Provide personal care and support to residents, including assistance with medication and mobility
- Encourage independence and promote resident participation in activities
- Work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to achieve optimal care outcomes
- A Certificate III in Individual Support or Aged Care qualification
- Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in a residential setting
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- High level of discretion and confidentiality
- To deliver high-quality care that meets the needs of our residents
- To work collaboratively with the team to achieve optimal care outcomes
