Job Title: Partnerships Manager

This is a business development role where you will lead the delivery and management of commercial partnerships from end to end. You will act as the key relationship manager and internal voice of the partner, ensuring contractual compliance, driving executional excellence, and helping to maximise long-term value and retention.

As a partnerships manager, you will bring our commercial strategy to life by working closely with internal teams and the director of partnerships. You will play a vital role in partner renewals, renegotiations, and the success of flagship events. This is a hands-on role at the heart of the commercial operations, ideal for someone who thrives on building strong relationships and delivering results.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and deliver commercial partnerships end-to-end by ensuring contractual compliance, timely execution, and strong alignment with strategic objectives.
  • Act as the main relationship manager for partners, developing collaborative partnerships and leading proactive account management to drive retention.
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams to execute high-impact activations and campaigns.
  • Monitor and report on partnership performance, leveraging insights to improve delivery and identify opportunities for growth and innovation.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and vendors to fulfill commercial obligations, optimise product offerings, and identify new revenue opportunities.
  • Represent the organisation in key forums and contribute to strategic planning, compliance, and governance activities.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Tertiary qualification in marketing, business, communications, or a related field.
  • Minimum 7 years' experience in partnerships, sales, or marketing roles.
  • Proven experience managing commercial and sponsorship agreements, including negotiating contracts and delivering mutually beneficial outcomes.
  • Strong commercial acumen with the ability to navigate legal agreements and achieve financial targets.
  • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, including senior leadership.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Strong leadership and team collaboration skills, including managing cross-functional or virtual teams.
