Pathology Collector Phlebotomist Job

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated individual to join our team as a Pathology Collector Phlebotomist. As a Pathology Collector Phlebotomist, you will be responsible for collecting blood samples from patients in a clinical setting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Venepuncture experience is essential for at least 6 months unsupervised not including placement hours
  • Processing of Pathology Specimens
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Clerical duties and basic IT skills
  • High-level communication skills with colleagues and patients
  • Ability to provide dedication to patient care
  • Ability to prioritise and work under pressure
  • Comply with Work Health and Safety

About You:

We are looking for a motivated and driven individual who is passionate about delivering high-quality Pathology services. You'll have a positive attitude and be able to successfully and positively work with external stakeholders.

Requirements:

  • Eligible to work within Australia
  • Possess a current driver's licence and WWC Check
  • Medical Laboratory Science degree with Phlebotomy experience are welcome to apply
  • Obtained a Cert 3 in Pathology Collection
  • A clear and patient communicator
  • Experience in blood collection (at least 6 months)
  • A positive attitude
  • A passion for Pathology Collection
  • A flexible approach to work and availability and be prepared to be deployed at different locations
