Commercial Opportunities Manager

As a Senior Contracts Advisor, you will play a key role in ensuring our business units have the necessary products and services at the right price. You will work closely with internal customers to understand their requirements and utilise internal and third-party partners to deliver outcomes.

- Participate in strategy development for relevant sourcing activities
- Assist in developing and coordinating scope of work writing for contracts;
- Assist in developing evaluation scorecards and participate in technical evaluations of tenders;
- Manage the contract register to ensure projects are executed on time to replace expiring contracts;
- Establish and manage relationships with internal stakeholders;
- Review escalations, invoice price adherence, and budget compliance;
- Assist with pricing escalations and adjustments
To execute this role successfully, you will require:
- Tertiary qualification in a commercial, legal, or engineering-related discipline
- Several years' experience in a similar role in contract management, supply chain, or commercial teams
- Experience working in an underground metals environment will be advantageous
- Experience drafting and/or managing contracts
- Extensive experience using computerised ERP systems, preferably SAP and/or Coupa
- Ability to work with remote team members across different time zones
