Field Service Technician

We are seeking a skilled Field Service Technician to join our team. As a Field Service Technician, you will be responsible for providing expert maintenance and repair services to a variety of compressors and equipment.

Job Description:

  • Provide breakdown and general service for all makes of Compressors and ancillary equipment.
  • Promote and ensure customer satisfaction through quality workmanship.
  • Identify and address non-conformances, and recommend solutions through designated channels.

Responsibilities:

  1. Customer Service: Provide after-hours call-out assistance and call-back availability when rostered on duty.
  2. Conduct overnight field trips to service breakdowns, perform maintenance, and support customers.
  3. Promote and enroll medium to long-term customers in preventative maintenance plans.
  4. Complete all documentation and administrative requirements.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of Compressors or similar equipment is essential.
  • Ability to communicate technical and product information effectively to internal and external customers.
  • Intermediate computer skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Key Competencies:

  1. Trade Qualifications, Cert III – Fitter and Turner, with a minimum of 5 years maintenance experience.
