Job Description

About the Role:

We are seeking a Senior Business Analyst to join our team in Sydney. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience gathering, writing and analyzing requirements, and taking them through to conceptualization.

The successful applicant will possess a detailed level of knowledge of the energy sector, including both industry and regulatory matters.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and own responsibility for providing functional and non-functional analysis to enable key business needs to be translated into technical specifications or other documentation.
  • Undertake requirements gathering, data and process mapping and modelling.
  • Document and record findings in a way that is meaningful and understood by stakeholders.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • A tertiary qualification in an appropriate discipline (business, human resources or finance).
  • Minimum 10 years' experience as a Business Analyst or role of similar capacity.
  • Excellent customer interfacing skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and outstanding analytical and problem-solving skills.
