High Voltage System Designer

We are seeking an experienced Senior Electrical Design Engineer to join our team. This role involves designing HV substations and related infrastructure, including configuration, layouts, busbar schemes, and safety considerations.
- This includes preparing specifications for HV equipment and buildings, conducting insulation coordination, and studying lightning protection and EMF.
- The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of electrical engineering principles and excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design HV substations and related infrastructure, including configuration, layouts, busbar schemes, and safety considerations.
- Prepare specifications for HV equipment and buildings, conduct insulation coordination, and study lightning protection and EMF.
- Attend site visits to ascertain project requirements and support BESS, solar, and wind farm projects.
About You:
- Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering.
- At least 1 year of primary HV plant design experience.
- Knowledge of HV cable design, earthing, lightning protection, and system planning.
- Proficiency with Cymcap, EMTP, and CDEGS software.
