About the Role

We are seeking a seasoned Engineering and Commissioning Manager to lead our team in delivering end-to-end engineering and commissioning services for large-scale Renewable projects from Feasibility Study through detailed design, procurement, construction, commissioning, and handover.

Your Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Coordinating engineering design across multiple BESS projects, ensuring consistency and knowledge transfer.
  • Drafting technical specifications, reviewing design deliverables to validate compliance with project performance objectives.
  • Leading regular design coordination and technical query meetings between engineering contractors and site teams; resolving or escalating design issues promptly.
  • Oversight of on-site installation activities, ensuring correct assembly, electrical integration, and compliance with safety standards; troubleshooting construction issues to prevent delays.

About You

To be successful in this position, you will have at least 5 years' experience in an Engineering and Commissions management role within utility scale storage (PV or BESS) or similar electrical infrastructure projects. You will need to demonstrate expertise in high-voltage electrical systems, battery technology, power electronics, and plant control systems.

You must also possess strong understanding and awareness of Australian Standards, project implementation, constructability, WHS, environmental, and community issues within a heavy construction environment.
