Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to fill the role of Regional Purchasing Manager in Sydney.

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing regional procurement strategies for the Eastern Region, identifying cost-saving opportunities for regionally sourced goods and services, initiating, developing, and negotiating supplier agreements, analyzing market trends and developing category knowledge, managing strategic procurement projects with a cross-functional impact, and overseeing supplier performance, quality, customer support, and price management.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement regional procurement strategies for the Eastern Region
  • Identify cost-saving opportunities for regionally sourced goods and services
  • Initiate, develop, and negotiate supplier agreements
  • Manage strategic procurement projects with a cross-functional impact
  • Oversee supplier performance, quality, customer support, and price management
Requirements:
  • Minimum 3 years of professional experience in Procurement or Operations in an industrial or manufacturing setting
  • Experience in strategic sourcing, supplier management, and contract negotiation
  • Proven ability to work with cross-functional teams
  • Strong proficiency in data analysis, market benchmarking, and decision-making
