Procurement Strategist

Job Description:

We are seeking a seasoned Procurement Strategist to lead our centralized procurement function. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in pharmaceutical or healthcare retail procurement, with experience in building and leading cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement comprehensive procurement strategies aligned with business objectives.
  • Negotiate and secure optimal wholesale pricing across all pharmaceutical and retail product categories.
  • Establish preferred supplier arrangements and volume-based pricing structures.
  • Conduct regular market analysis to identify cost-saving opportunities and emerging trends.
  • Manage inventory levels using just-in-time principles.

Requirements:

  • Relevant business discipline degree.
  • Current pharmacist registration (highly preferred).
  • Professional procurement or supply chain management qualifications (desirable).
  • Minimum 5 years procurement or supply chain management experience.
