Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Education Leader - Numeracy Specialist to join our team at St Catherine of Siena School. This is an exciting opportunity for a dedicated and passionate professional to lead and implement numeracy initiatives that drive student success.

About the Role

The successful applicant will be responsible for leading and managing numeracy programs across the school, including planning, implementation, and evaluation. They will work closely with teachers, students, and parents to develop and deliver high-quality numeracy education that meets the needs of all learners.

The role requires strong leadership and management skills, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills. The successful applicant must have a deep understanding of numeracy pedagogy and be able to apply this knowledge in a variety of contexts.

Main Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage numeracy programs across the school
  • Plan, implement, and evaluate numeracy initiatives
  • Develop and deliver high-quality numeracy education
  • Work closely with teachers, students, and parents to achieve numeracy goals
  • Provide coaching and mentoring to teachers to improve numeracy teaching practices
  • Monitor and report on numeracy student performance data
  • Develop and maintain relationships with external agencies and partners to support numeracy initiatives
Requirements
  • Minimum 5 years teaching experience
  • Strong leadership and management skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Deep understanding of numeracy pedagogy
  • Victorian Institute of Teaching – Full Registration CECV Accreditation to Teach in a Catholic School
  • Criminal Record Check Valid Working with Children Card
What We Offer

We offer a competitive salary package, including a base salary of $95,000 - $110,000 per annum, plus superannuation and other benefits.
