Looking for a dynamic opportunity to work alongside experienced therapists and make a positive impact on children and adolescents with communication disorders? As an Allied Health Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing intervention and support to our clients.

The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a multi-disciplinary team. A passion for speech pathology and a commitment to ongoing professional development are essential.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide therapy assistant services for individual and/or group programs
  • Assist qualified therapists in maintaining client records and invoicing
  • Support resource development and community promotion
  • Communicate effectively with the Director and Administration team about appointments and client progress
  • Monitor and review client progress against a therapy plan and report findings
  • Support new client intake processes and help with wait list management strategies
  • Undertake professional development and self-reflection
  • Work collaboratively within a multi-disciplinary team

Absorbent candidates must be studying a Bachelor or Masters of Speech Pathology (3rd or 4th year) and hold a current Working With Children clearance.
