Trauma Clinical Nurse Consultant
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced trauma nurse to join our team as a Trauma Clinical Nurse Consultant. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual who can provide clinical expertise and advice for trauma patients across the district.
The successful applicant will lead quality improvement activities, embed education and training activities in trauma care, and work closely with stakeholders to enhance models of care and achieve better patient outcomes.
- Current Authority to Practice as a Registered Nurse with Australian Health Practitioners Regulation Agency (AHPRA) and at least 7 years full-time equivalent post-registration experience and at least 5 years full-time equivalent post-registration experience in a relevant field of practice relevant to the specialty.
- Strong clinical problem-solving and analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and apply insights practically to develop and evaluate models of care, education materials for patients and staff.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively with a broad range of stakeholders.
This role involves working across multiple sites within the district and requires a high level of flexibility and adaptability. The successful applicant must hold a minimum P2 license and be able to obtain a NSW C-class (P1 or P2 included) license within three months of appointment.
