Specialist Nurse for Trauma-Informed Care

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to fill the role of Senior Clinical Nurse Specialist in our multidisciplinary team, providing care to individuals who have experienced violence and abuse.
The successful candidate will possess a postgraduate qualification and 3 years of experience working in a clinical area relevant to the position, as well as NSW Health Sexual Assault Nurse Examiner accreditation or willingness to undergo formal training. They will be able to work in a fast-paced environment, providing high-quality trauma-informed care to patients who may present with complex needs.
The key responsibilities of this role include:
- Providing senior nursing leadership in the development of specialist clinical practice and service delivery
- Employing advanced clinical skills and exercising extended autonomy of decision-making
- Working closely with managers and other senior clinicians to achieve shared goals
The ideal candidate will be a registered nurse with a passion for delivering high-quality patient care, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to ongoing professional development. They will also hold a current NSW Driver's licence and be willing to work in a variety of settings, including emergency departments and acute wards.
