Estimated Salary: AU$120,000 - AU$180,000 per annum

We are seeking an experienced Senior Cyber Security Specialist to join our Information Security team. As a key member of our team, you will contribute to all aspects of our technology products and services, from technical strategy and design to deployment to operation.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Gather and analyze threat intelligence data from various sources to identify potential security threats.
  • Create and maintain detailed intelligence reports and assessments to inform our security direction.
  • Prioritize and mitigate potential security threats to ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of our systems and data.
  • Provide expert analysis and advice on potential security incidents to minimize their impact.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure effective communication and collaboration.

To be successful in this role, you will require:

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Proven experience in threat intelligence analysis or a similar role.
  • Proficiency with security information and event management (SIEM) systems.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to interpret complex threat data.
  • Deep understanding of the current threat landscape and security best practices.
  • Collaborative experience working with multiple business stakeholders including suppliers.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills as well as attention to detail.
  • Security & Industry Certifications such as CEH, CISSP, etc. are preferred.
  • Experience and knowledge of frameworks including NIST, Essential 8 and ISO27001.
  • Experience with SIEM integrations, creating use cases and incident investigations.
  • Tertiary qualifications in IT or Computer Science or equivalent certification.
