About the Senior Speech Pathologist Role

The role of a Senior Speech Pathologist is integral to our multidisciplinary healthcare team, providing high-quality complex speech pathology inpatient services to adult patients.

As a senior professional, you will be responsible for:

  • Providing high-level clinical expertise and knowledge;
  • Ensuring client care is delivered within professional boundaries and reflects evidence-based practice and organisational values;
  • Actively contributing to professional networks and multi-disciplinary teams.

You will be required to have:

  • Tertiary qualification in Speech Pathology with eligibility for membership of Speech Pathology Australia;
  • Advanced speech pathology clinical knowledge, skills and experience, with an emphasis on evidence-based practice;
  • Well-developed time management skills, written and verbal communication, and IT skills.
