About the Role:

This is a clinical support role that requires a Registered Nurse to work with the residential team to provide tailored and individualised responsive care for residents. The role involves advising and supporting care delivery, educating and mentoring in clinical areas, and consulting in case management and clinical decision making.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Advising and supporting care delivery by care staff
  • Educating and mentoring in clinical areas and processes
  • Consulting in case management and clinical decision making
  • Clinical oversight and professional competence as a Registered Nurse
  • Implementing and supporting a resident comfort focus

Requirements:

  • Flexibility to commit to a range of shifts, including nights and weekends
  • Ability to work independently and show initiative
  • Knowledge and experience of people living with dementia and their needs
  • Genuine passion for serving elderly people and making a difference in their lives
  • Strong administrative and computer skills
  • Current AHPRA registration with ideally 2-3 years' experience in an aged care setting
