Culinary Support Professional

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Culinary Support Professional. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional food services to students and staff.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment, ensuring the highest standards of food safety and quality are met at all times.

Main Responsibilities:

  1. Maintain a clean and safe kitchen area, adhering to health and safety regulations.
  2. Wash and sanitize dishes, utensils, and equipment.
  3. Assist in food preparation and presentation, following established recipes and guidelines.
  4. Monitor inventory levels and minimize waste, optimizing resource usage.
  5. Collaborate with colleagues to ensure seamless service delivery.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A valid Working With Children Check or ability to obtain.
  • Previous experience in a similar role is preferred but not essential.
  • A strong work ethic, willingness to learn, and adaptability.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
