Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Regulatory Breach Reporting and Compliance Specialist to join our team. This is a hybrid role that can be based anywhere in Australia, requiring at least three days of office work per week.

The successful candidate will join our Risk and Compliance team and be responsible for supporting the Incident and Breach Management frameworks, policies, tools, systems, and processes to manage compliance risks effectively.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the development and implementation of compliance frameworks and policies to ensure effective risk management.
  • Undertake compliance assessments of incidents to support regulatory breach assessment processes.
  • Present compliance assessments to relevant stakeholders and forums as required.
  • Provide sound, pragmatic advice and guidance to business leaders on risk and compliance matters.
Process and Reporting
  • Prepare and present concise, meaningful professional risk and compliance reports for management and related Boards and Board sub-committees.
  • Partner closely with colleagues to drive alignment and consistent implementation of risk and compliance framework accountabilities.
Requirements
  • A tertiary qualification in Law, Commerce, Finance, Risk Management, or a related field.
  • Relevant postgraduate and/or professional qualifications are desirable.
  • At least 5+ years of experience in a similar role or compliance role experience in the financial services (superannuation, investments, financial advice, insurance broking/insurance) industry is desirable.
