Manufacturing Expertise - Production Operator Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality products efficiently and effectively by operating manufacturing equipment, monitoring quality control processes, and adhering to established safety protocols.

About the Position:

We are seeking an experienced production operator to join our team on a full-time basis. The ideal candidate will possess relevant industry experience, a strong understanding of manufacturing processes, and excellent interpersonal skills.

  • Operate machinery & equipment, monitor and adjust to ensure conformity of product to standard.
  • Set & calibrate various machinery/tooling to enable the operation of production machinery.
  • Review customer information (as required) including drawings and specifications to minimize errors prior to commencement of work.
  • Follow processes & procedures to ensure timely completion and dispatch.
  • Conduct quality inspections and actively participate in continual improvement activities.
  • Adhere to SWMES to ensure safe and environmentally friendly work practices.

Key Requirements:

  • At least one year of relevant work experience and a relevant qualification or equivalent.
  • Experience and technical aptitude in fabrication & welding in a manufacturing environment.
  • Knowledge and experience in production operations and manufacturing processes and techniques.
  • Knowledge of raw materials relevant to metal trades.
  • Experience with quality control systems and processes.
  • Understanding of machines and tools, and their relevant processes.
  • Interpersonal communication skills and a can-do attitude.
  • Forklift Licence.
