Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Child Protection Specialist to join our team in a community-based role.
Main Responsibilities:
- Risk Assessment and Case Planning: Conduct comprehensive risk assessments, develop and implement effective case plans to ensure the safety and well-being of vulnerable children and families.
- Collaboration with Services: Foster strong relationships with community services, agencies, and stakeholders to provide support and resources to children and families at risk.
- Community Education and Engagement: Deliver educational programs and workshops to promote child protection awareness, statutory processes, and responsibilities within the community.
- Investigations and Support: Conduct thorough investigations into allegations of abuse and neglect, providing expert advice and support to colleagues and partners.
Requirements:
- Australian Citizenship or Permanent Residency.
- Valid driver's licence and willingness to travel.
- Working with Children Check.
