We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Food and Domestic Services Assistant to join our team at Ballarat Health Services. As a key member of our Environmental Services Department, you will play a vital role in ensuring the efficient provision of cleaning and food services to our patients and staff.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare and serve meals, including toast, porridge, and other hot meals as required.
- Distribute food and beverages to patients and staff, collect used food trays, and manage food trolleys to ensure efficient service.
- Set up and maintain the kitchen, dining room, and washing areas, including cleaning and sanitizing equipment and utensils.
- Clean and maintain patient areas, including toilets, basins, and floors, to ensure a thorough and hygienic environment.
- Previous experience in cleaning, food services, or a related field is desirable.
- A Food Handling Certificate (HLTFS207C - Follow Basic Food Safety Practices) is required.
