About the Role

We are seeking a motivated individual to join our Geriatric Evaluation and Management Unit as a Food & Domestic Services Assistant. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in assisting with food service, cleaning, and supporting our patients and their families.

  • Provide exceptional customer service and maintain a professional presence
  • Work collaboratively with our multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality care
  • Enjoy a 7-day roster, including public holidays

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain a customer-focused approach and engage with key stakeholders to ensure person-centered service delivery
  • Utilize resources responsibly and in a cost-effective manner
  • Demonstrate a person-centered care and respectful approach to patients, visitors, and staff
  • Clean equipment as directed and attend to general housekeeping duties as required by the clinical ward

Requirements

  • Food Handling Certificate (HLTFS207C - Follow Basic Food Safety Practices)
  • Demonstrated high-level communication and interpersonal skills
  • Good interpersonal skills
