Job Description: CSSD Supervisor

We are seeking an experienced CSSD Supervisor to join our Perioperative Services area. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for the operational management of the current CSSD Department.

You will act as an advocate for our Quality Management System, promoting a safe work environment and supporting your team to achieve streamlined operational management. You will also meet relevant standards and best practices consistent with the CSSD specialty area.

Responsibilities:
  • Attend to the operational management of the current CSSD Department within the Perioperative Services area
  • Act as an advocate for our Quality Management System and promote a safe work environment

Requirements:Essential Criteria:
  • Minimum 3 – 5 years' experience working in a senior role within a CSSD
  • Certificate III or IV in Sterilisation
  • Sound knowledge of accreditation standards ACHS/AS/NZ 4187 Standards and HICMR
  • Demonstrated ability to show leadership and the ability to work with a wide range of people in a team environment
  • Demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Exceptional organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Intermediate computer literacy skills - including MS office and various data bases
  • An interest in promoting best practice patient care
  • A focus on professional development
Estimated Salary: $80,000 - $110,000 per annum
