We are seeking an experienced Senior Financial Director to join our Executive Team at Rockpool Residential Aged Care. As a key member of our leadership team, you will play a crucial role in driving financial planning and analysis, as well as fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and enable the Finance Team to deliver precise, timely, and insightful financial data, modelling, and analysis to facilitate strategic decision-making across all facets of our operations.
- Provide our key stakeholders with accurate and timely financial management information, covering budgets, financial performance, economic evaluations, and overall financial analysis.
- Develop long-term financial strategies and tools that align with Rockpool goals and enable managers to gain insight into their performance.
- Identify, analyse, and mitigate financial risks.
- Continually review and evaluate the effectiveness of current financial systems ensuring they are fit for purpose and scale.
- Bachelor of Business in Accounting and CA or CPA with at least 5 years' experience.
- Experience in Residential Aged Care or healthcare sector.
- Deep understanding of financial principles, regulatory frameworks, financial analysis, risk assessment, capital structure, and funding options.
- Awareness of economic conditions and market trends as they affect the aged care sector.
- Experience in use of best practice ERP's.
- An understanding of corporate governance principles and ethical standards, including transparency, accountability, and ethical behaviour in financial practices.
- Knowledge of financial reporting, liaison with external auditors, and tax accountants.
- Solid understanding of technology and system capability.
- Communication and negotiation skills to align stakeholder engagement required.
- Adaptability and strong decision-making skills.

The successful candidate will be offered a salary range of AU$180,000 - AU$220,000 per annum, depending on experience. Rockpool welcomes diversity and is committed to providing a safe and inclusive work environment.
