Job Title: Electronic Equipment Maintenance Specialist

Description:

We are seeking a skilled Electronic Equipment Maintenance Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing faults in electronic equipment, including machines, instruments, and control systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Checking and testing equipment to identify issues and faults
  • Performing post-assembly or re-assembly testing and making necessary adjustments
  • Maintaining professional communications with suppliers and customers to advise on correct operating procedures
  • Testing equipment using mechanical and sensing equipment for electrical and electronic testing
  • Using electrical and mechanical knowledge to diagnose and repair issues and faults
  • Adjusting, repairing, reassembling, and replacing worn and defective parts and wiring
  • Running cables and wires
  • Interpreting drawings, manuals, and instructions to perform maintenance and installations

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • At least 2 years of experience as an Electronic Equipment Trades Worker
  • Strong mechanical and electrical knowledge
  • The ability to safely use power tools
  • The ability to read and interpret blueprints
  • Strong communication and team player skills
