**Job Title:** Biomedical Equipment Specialist

**Location:** Bega, New South Wales

**Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled professional to manage biomedical equipment used in patient care. The successful candidate will be responsible for the maintenance, repair, and testing of medical devices.

**Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide safe and effective biomedical equipment services to patients and staff.
  • Maintain and repair biomedical equipment, including scheduled maintenance and testing.
  • Assess and prioritize tasks in a time-sensitive environment.
  • Develop effective relationships with stakeholders through clear communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Work independently and collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
  • Demonstrate computer proficiency and accurate data entry skills within Microsoft Office Suite and asset management systems.

**Required Qualifications and Skills:

  • Associate Diploma in Electronic Engineering or Certificate in Medical Electronics.
  • Proven competency in testing, inspection, scheduled maintenance, repair, and management of medical equipment.
  • Effective written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Current unrestricted driver's license and willingness to travel as required.

  • Possess Associate Diploma in Electronic Engineering or Certificate in Medical Electronics.
