We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Financial Controller to join our team on a permanent full-time basis. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial management, accounting principles, and MYOB software.

CrewSELECT is looking for a Financial Controller to manage all aspects of financial operations. Key responsibilities include:
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records, including ledgers, journals, and financial statements.
- Preparing timely and accurate financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
- Assisting in budget preparation and financial forecasting to guide business decision-making.
- Managing accounts payable and accounts receivable, processing invoices, and ensuring timely payments.
- Performing bank and account reconciliations to ensure accuracy and integrity of financial data.
- Assisting in tax preparation and ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal tax regulations.
- Collaborating with auditors during financial audits, providing required documentation and explanations.
- Conducting financial analysis and providing insights to support business decision-making.
- Monitoring and analyzing company expenses, identifying cost-saving opportunities.
- Establishing and maintaining internal financial controls to safeguard company assets and ensure accuracy.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, the ideal candidate will possess the following skills and qualifications:
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in a business carrying out all aspects of financial accounting and bookkeeping.
- Strong experience with MYOB software, preferably Arrowflow as well.
- Competency in weekly payroll for up to 40 staff members and timesheets for contractors/labor hire.
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field, or a combination of relevant education and experience.
- Proven experience as an accountant/bookkeeper or similar role.
- Experience managing and reporting on profit and loss (P&L).
- Knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
- Proficiency in MS Suite.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
Benefits:
The successful candidate can expect a competitive salary range of $40-$50 per hour and a 38-hour workweek.

Tickets and Licenses:
The ideal candidate will hold a current driver's license, bachelor's degree in accounting or finance, and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
