Clinical Health Advisor

Bupa is proud to expand its Health Services contract with the Australian Defence Force to provide services to the Department of Veterans' Affairs (DVA). As part of this initiative, we are seeking a skilled Clinical Health Adviser to join our team.
Key Responsibilities- Provide internal clinical advice to support the Department of Veterans' Affairs.
- Assess and process medicinal cannabis funding submissions and RPBS written authority funding applications.
- Advise DVA on appropriate clinical treatment within the DVA health entitlements legislation.
- Provide specialized clinical, business, and policy advice.
- Support program and provider audit/reviews under an agreed assurance procedural framework.
- Liaise with external providers in relation to requests for services under an agreed procedural framework.
We are looking for a skilled Pharmacist with relevant tertiary qualifications, unrestricted AHPRA registration, and at least 5 years of current clinical experience. You should have strong critical analysis skills, excellent interpersonal and communication skills, and the ability to work independently and collaboratively as a productive team member.
Please note that you must be an Australian citizen and be able to attain and maintain a baseline security clearance from the Defence security and vetting service.
