Job Title: Employment Coach

We are seeking a motivated and dedicated individual to fill the role of Employment Coach. In this position, you will play a key part in helping customers find employment opportunities and improve their overall quality of life.

The Employment Coach is responsible for managing an assigned caseload of customers with a prior offender history, aiming to secure employment opportunities for them. Key tasks involve case management to improve customers' capacity to work by addressing non-vocational issues and developing vocational skills and experience.

Additional responsibilities include conducting 'reverse marketing' to match customers with suitable employers and leading group-based job search sessions to motivate and promote further job placements. The ideal candidate possesses a genuine passion for recruitment, excellent interpersonal skills, and the ability to meet individual targets while contributing to a strong site team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage an assigned caseload of customers with a prior offender history
  • Conduct case management to improve customers' capacity to work
  • Develop vocational skills and experience
  • Conduct 'reverse marketing' to match customers with suitable employers
  • Lead group-based job search sessions
Requirements:
  • Prior experience in employment services or a related service industry
  • Certificate IV in Employment Services or Career Development (or willingness to study)
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Ability to meet individual targets
