Optical Retail Specialist

Join us as an Optical Retail Specialist where you will be working in a fast-paced and dynamic environment with the opportunity to grow and develop your skills.

The role involves providing exceptional customer service and ensuring that every patient feels valued, heard and understood. You will work closely with our Optometrists to provide eye care and eyewear styling advice to patients, dispense lenses and frames according to prescriptions and build meaningful relationships with our clientele.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Providing high-quality eye care and eyewear styling advice to patients and prospective clients.
  • Dispensing lenses and frames according to prescriptions provided by our Optometrists.
  • Building strong relationships with our clients and delivering excellent customer service.
  • Assisting with store opening and closing procedures.

Requirements:

  • 1+ years experience in optical or 2+ years retail sales experience.
  • Previous experience in opening and closing duties.
  • Strong attention to detail and basic mathematical skills.
  • Confident, clear and effective communication skills.
  • Capable of building trusting and respectful relationships.
  • Self-motivated, positive and friendly manner.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Optical Dispensing Certificate IV.
