The Role:
As a Senior Payroll Officer, your primary responsibilities will include preparing payroll in a timely and accurate manner, in accordance with Award levels and timetables, and maintaining payroll records.
Main Responsibilities:
- Preparing payroll in accordance with Award levels and timetables.
- Maintaining payroll records and ensuring data integrity.
- Supporting the general operation of the Payroll Team, including processing of all aspects of the fortnightly Payroll.
- Contributing expert advice and responding to various payroll-related enquiries and information requests from staff and external customers.
- Verifying and undertaking the preparation and cost allocation of salaries and wages timesheets for each fortnightly pay-run.
- Maintaining the confidentiality of sensitive information.
- Providing effective interpretation of awards and enterprise agreements when processing the payroll.
