Job Overview

We are looking for experienced Backend Engineers to join our team in Sydney. This is a great opportunity to work on greenfield projects, modernise our platform and shape the architecture of a growing product company.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop production Go services from scratch as part of a major replatform program
  • Contribute to an event-driven, cloud-native environment
  • Work with CI/CD pipelines, DataDog observability and modern engineering practices
  • Partner with mobile, data and product teams to deliver customer-facing features
  • Provide technical guidance, lead design reviews and mentor engineers as a Tech Lead
  • Work with databases such as MySQL, DynamoDB and NoSQL
  • Use monitoring and observability tools like DataDog
Requirements
  • Strong backend experience, preferably in Go
  • Knowledge of distributed systems and scalable architectures
  • Solid testing practices and a pragmatic approach to performance and security
  • Clear communication and collaborative mindset
  • Demonstrated experience in technical leadership as a Tech Lead
