Job Opportunity for Support Workers

We are seeking skilled and compassionate support workers to provide assistance towards duties including in-home support and community support to our participants.

About the Role:

As a Disability Support Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals with disabilities in their daily lives. Your tasks may include providing personal care, assisting with daily living activities, and helping with household chores.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide emotional and practical support to individuals with disabilities
  • Assist with daily living activities such as showering, dressing, and toileting
  • Help with household chores such as cleaning, laundry, and meal preparation
  • Encourage social interaction and community participation
  • Maintain accurate records of participant interactions and progress

Requirements:

  • Certificate III in Disability or Individual Support
  • Previous experience working with people with disabilities
  • National Police Clearance (past 12 months)
  • First Aid & CPR Certificate (current)
  • Medication Certification
  • Right to work in Australia

Benefits:

  • Casual position available Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 8:30am to 4:30pm
  • Hourly rate $35.00 - $38.00 per hour
  • Expected hours 24 per week
